It’s The Best Flavour Enhancer, It’s Abundant, It’s Free!
Why is it that a home cooked meal made by someone special always tastes SO good. Whether it’s your mum’s cooking or your partner’s efforts on a special occasion or your children helping you out. To the simplest meal a husband might respond, ‘What did you do with that darl?’ The answer is the food has been cooked with care, with love, as an offering. That is the secret ingredient, #LOVE, and the one I truly believe makes all the difference.
For me cooking on a whole food level incorporates your intentions and your thoughts. I so strongly believe we are as much “what we think”, as “what we eat”. What really throws me into a romance with the art of cooking is HOW I prepare the food. The true seasoning is in your hands, what you are thinking or feeling in the process is the most important ingredient of all. That’s why in my ONLINE PROGRAMS AND EBOOKS I include in my recipes a cup of love, that teaspoon of happiness or a tablespoon of gratitude. Trust me, that’s what will set your cooking apart. I would go as far to say that if there is such a thing as a superfood it is #LOVE. So where have we lost this? Mainstream science focuses on dissecting food down to the sum of its nutritional physical parts. Antioxidants, vitamins and all of those “~isms”. In their quest they have become firmly convincing as to what is a “bad ingredient” and what is a “good ingredient” … and then telling us the complete opposite a few years later! Oh my, it’s so intense trying to navigate! Despite their good intentions much of this work has done nothing but complicate the very essence of what keeps us alive. Vitamin #LOVE.
Other research less well known that I think deserves our attention is how water can take on and store the vibration of your emotions. As food (and we!) are mainly water this is something to get excited about and where it gets more real. Whether you are conscious of it or not you literally choose the vibration you are putting into your food and to that of others. Are you choosing #LOVE or something else? How ridiculously BLESSED are we to have this choice?!
Whatever you are preparing today if it’s a simple snack or a family feast make sure you add in with abundance the most important ingredient of all, and that is #LOVE.
